Kellogg’s Enstek Pringles Plant

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

A project Management scope awarded by Kellogg’s to SPIN to overlook Phase 1 design, installation and commissioning of 6 Pringles production lines from year 2014 till 2016.

This is the first Kellogg’s plant in Malaysia and with a land size of approximately 30 acres, it will be the largest Kellogg’s plant in Asia during the completion of full phase.

Some of the key responsibilities as part of the scope of works included:

  • Design tender specification
  • Main contractor tendering and negotiation
  • Design management and coordination
  • Installation management and coordination

A few of the project’s important highlights were:

  • Concurrent work management while civil, mechanical and electrical work are actively ongoing
  • Management of > 10,000 I/O

Achieved one of the best commissioning output with 5 days production vertical startup
